It's thinner than I thought it was when ordering but still looks like it should be effective for my usage which is to protect my oil pan from exhaust heat in the areas that exhaust runs near it. Time will tell if the adhesive and heat reflective coating can withstand the use

hot

I have used this before for my mini starters, to keep the heat from my headers getting to the solenoid. seems to help them last longer, at least for me they do.
