Arrived unbroken...the only reason it got 2 stars instead of one. Cheap materials and construction. For the price, I expected better. I've purchased the same style of frame for half the cost of these. Frame is metal, but is basically thin, shaped sheet steel. The glass plate isn't held in by anything, and the opening is at the bottom of the frame. Possible that it could fall right out of the frame if you lifted it off a table. FIVE pieces of corrugated cardboard were stuck between the glass and back panel. None of them were a 'mat/matte', just brown cardboard. This basically shows that there is far too much empty space inside the frame, and it should have been made shallower. If you want a cheap frame, there are options that cost less. I returned these to find something better.
