Keep egg shells from cracking when boiling eggs by piercing a small hole in the shell. Simply set the wide end of the raw egg in the spring loaded platform and gently press down to pierce the egg shell. Our egg piercer is made of 18/8 stainless steel and sits in a stable plastic base. No hole-poking here!
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! I went through a dozen of expensive organic pasture raised eggs and even had friends try. The eggs shells squished in our hands before we ever got a hole if we even got one. The pin looks like a small nail, not a pin like my previous hole-maker. I am 71 years old and have been cooking for many years. This product is a flawed desigh and there is a cost to return it that is almost the same as the purchase price. Into the trash and never buying a Marketplace item again.
