A durable and fabulous round cake pan
While I received this product for free, the opinions and thoughts included in this review are my own. The round cake pan is built wonderfully. They have created it to have rounded edges to avoid warping. It is made out of Aluminized Steel, which is great for even heating throughout your entire cake. It is deep which offers a great size for a round cake layer or cake itself. It is dishwasher safe, which means easy cleaning. It is a non-stick pan which means if you don't have a dishwasher the job is easy. The cake mix will also slip out of the pan easily because of the surface of the cake pan. I enjoyed using this pan and am excited to continue making cakes from it.
Superior cake pan
While I received this product for free, the opinions and thoughts included in this review are my own. I love, love, love this new cake pan! I don't bake a ton, and one of the reasons is because I hate cleaning up. This pan has an amazing nonstick surface, making cleanup super-easy. We don't have a dishwasher (though it is dishwasher safe) so this is so important to me. The pan itself is amazingly sturdy and feels like it will last for years. It's made from Aluminized steel and therefore the heat is evenly distributed. My cakes came out totally baked through - I'm not a pro, and I need pans that make life easy and this one dos the trick by distributing the heat well. It comes with a 10 year warranty too, and has rolled edges to prevent warping. It's a solid, sturdy, high quality pan that I can see getting years of use.
Perfect addition to my kitchen!
I'm so happy with this pan! I have a history of ruined cakes due to cake sticking and uneven heating. I'm happy to report that this pan actually lived up to it's promise to be non-stick, and I did not have any issues with warping due to heat (this is usually more of an issue with aluminum baking pans for me, but I worry about it). The pan itself is really great quality, but lightweight feeling. It feels like it's going to stand up to my weekend baking forever, but I really like that it comes with a 10 year warranty! I want to buy a few more of these in different sizes now that I am confident that Calphalon does what is promised, and sells such a good product.
