Gap Home 16-Piece Round Dark Gray Stoneware Dinnerware Set

This Gap Home sixteen piece dinnerware set is awesome! I love it! I love the matte goldish yellow color in this stoneware set. The lip on the plates is an awesome look and gives an extra special touch to this set of dishes. It makes it easier for smaller children to keep from scooting their food off of the usual designed flat plates or adults as well. But more importantly to me I like the designer look that it gives to this casual set of dishes. I read a few reviews where a lot of people do not like the mugs without handles but I really like them, maybe because I am used to carrying coffee around in my Yeti tumblers which of course do not have handles. But also I like that they are different than the usual everyday coffee mugs. I do wish they offered these in a six piece place setting and I would love if they came in a red color also, whether it was a rich burgundy or an matte apple red to mix and match with the goldish yellow. This set of stoneware dishes is perfect for a country kitchen but could be used in any contemporary home. I like that they are heavy duty and I am very happy that they are dishwasher and microwave safe. However the plates with the lip do not fit very well in my dishwasher as the lip makes them a bit too wide for my plate section and I have to tilt them forward a bit to make it work. These are nice huge plates and bowls and the mugs hold sixteen ounces!
