I am very pleased with this lamp. I needed a "night light" in a small space in a bathroom next to a wall that did not have an electrical outlet. This lamp is perfect! It's only 9-1/2" tall; you have the option to choose the "manual" or "automatic" setting. The "automatic" electrical eye allows it to sense movement and turn on. It is bright enough without being offensive. I am thrilled that I found this lamp on line.
