Engaging, accessible history

I am writing this because of an incentive that I got to write a review after purchase, I didn't know about this offer before I paid for this book. Got this for my 14 year old by his request after he read the series from the library. The series is a keeper. It's easy to read yet has a lot of information. The art work is good and used well to convey ideas - it presents the information with good detail. Keeps him engaged and he rereads, I think he gets more detail each time since there is a lot here.
