Good solid reel.

I bought a Revol S spinning reel a couple year ago for my wife. My ten year old Shimano reel broke on a fishing trip and I can no longer buy parts for it. I used my wife's Revol S and was impressed with the quality and smoothness of the reel. It was a no brained to buy one for myself. I have older Abu Garcia reels that still work today. A good solid reel that won't let me down.

Excellent value for the price.

This reel has great features and quality for the price. Great drag sytem and plenty of bearings for smooth operation. However, I find the retrieve to be relatively stiff and the handle and rotor do not spin as freely as other Abu Garcia spinning reels that I have. It is a great reel and has very quality features for the money.
