Great rod made better!

I have used Ugly Stik Striper rods for more than a decade now. They have always held up well except for the ceramic inserts in the eyes falling out. Now they have resolved that problem through eliminating the ceramic inserts. I'm looking forward to a another decade full of memories made with Ugly Stik.

UNBEATABLE!

I first purchased the ugly stik striper rod about 2 years ago and now own 14 of them... It is ideal for both trolling and live bait fishing for stripers, which is about the only species I fish for. High quality and I can say WITH CERTAINTY that are VERY DURABLE. I'm pretty harsh on equipment and have many times stepped on one, caught it in the door, stuck in the ceiling fan etc....... and have yet to break one and you cant beat the price... I will certainly buy more as they have certainly proved there worth to this fisherman.
