Very Loud

This faucet was chosen by Delta to replace my 2 lav faucets N540CBWF which were chrome w polished brass cap, aerator and plunge lever. It also had the older style springs and washers. The new 525LF-MPU with the one piece valve is much louder to the point it is very noticeable. I had to replace the original 2 because of an intermittent leak coming from the bottom of the faucet. Delta has gone the wrong way in improving this faucet!

Hi Alan, I'm sorry to hear that you are hearing a noise coming from the faucet. It definitely shouldn't do that. The most common cause of noise is debris, which can be flushed out be removing the aerator and running the faucet for a minute.
