Planting is also easy. Simply dig a hole twice as wide as the pot and mix rich garden soil with your native soil. Leave the top of the root ball .5" above the ground when filling the hole with dirt. When planting this evergreen Nandina in the Spring, it is recommended that you use a slow release granular fertilizer.
