I've used a farrow wraps quite a lot. This particular brand actually. If you use them on a regular basis and the swelling goes down and the wraps get too big for the area that was previously extremely swollen then you could trim them to size. You can take 1/2 to one full inch off of each side / strap. sometimes they can get so long that it meets the same in the back. That's when you cut off that extra and replace the velcro where you need it to be. You can also cut the velcro to size as you feel it's necessary.
