Slight appetite changes and occasional digestive upsets are normal in puppies. If upsets become severe or linger longer than a day or two, contact your veterinarian. FEEDING FOR REPRODUCTION Purina Puppy Chow provides the extra nutrition needed by reproducing females in stages of gestation and lactation. Food consumption may vary during gestation, so feed the amount needed to maintain the pregnant female’s good body condition. Food intake may double or even quadruple during lactation. SWITCHING TO PURINA PUPPY CHOW When switching to Purina Puppy Chow from another food, please allow 7 - 10 days for the transition. I have the most beautiful adult German Shepherd. She is very picky and has a sensitive stomach. Undervher vet's advice, I had to switch over to a puppy food, so that she doesn't throw up everything that she ate. Of all of the brands, this is the only one that she keeps down. For awhile, I was using a more expensive puppy brand, but the vomiting was intermittent. I don't have that problem with this.

Our new pup wasn’t digesting the other brand that start ls with a P so I switched to Purina even though the person I got the puppy from said they were on that brand of puppy chow. After a few weeks of Purina and some probiotics her poo was much better.

There is no reason to pay more for expensive dry dog food. We have 5 Goldendoodles that had puppy chow for three months and we have now moved to the adult food and they are healthy, happy and what we have saved buying 44lbs for $25, weeks have invested in treats and toys. Don’t buy into the hype, literally, and use the money you would have spent on expensive dry food on things you can enjoy with your fur babies!
