Just the Essentials is the title of this review... As it very well should be! The Rock Candy "Essentials Only" wired XBox 360/PC controller has everything that I need in a good, reliable, "rock" solid PC controller. I say "PC" controller because that is what I bought it for... Everyday gaming on my PC. Keep in mind that I bought this as a temporary controller as I needed one in a hurry and didn't have the $150+ to replace my broken Xbox One Elite Controller. No shame though because before my Elite controller The Rock Candy controller was always my first choice in aftermarket controllers. They are cool to look at, sturdy in hand, easy to use plug-n-play controllers for your PC! There is no need for downloading drivers or having to perform complicated button mapping procedures... Just plug it into any of your USB slots and your ready to go. My last Rock Candy Controller lasted me 2 years before I bought my Elite controller. I didn't buy a new controller because my Rock Candy broke, I bought one because I really wanted the new Elite Controller and my 10yr old nephew needed a controller for his computer. Jacob is still using that controller which means it has been in use for over 3 years now! The price of this Rock Candy controller is perfect for how long it will last and how on point it is! Remember... Your controller will last you a long time if you take care of it. Which means no throwing it on the floor or tossing it over your shoulder when your mad at a game!
