NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer - # Ginger (Medium 2) 6.2g/0.21oz

The only makeup I really use is a few easy products that even out my skin tone with the goal of looking like I'm not wearing makeup. This concelear has been a part of "the Tripod" for the last 3 years since my first purchase. In my mid 30s now and in early 30s my face began to show a lot more redness, uneven skin tone, scarring, and life experienes. It required a second product that could look natural, cover, and blend with my light Garnier tinted moisturizer AND remain put with normal activities. Oh yeah AND last a decent amount of time with everyday use because that's what a good quality makeup product should do. Nars has always made quality, consistent, and stylish products. The company obviously puts standards in product excellence first and THEN all the riff raft marketing and sales. Don't settle until you find the exact right shade for you! Nars made them all you just gotta try them on to find your match. Tried on shades in store first time and even went outside to see in daylight (best test). Thought I found the winner but months later realized it was maybe one shade to dark and slightly more yellow toned then my skin. Had used maybe 1/4 of the product and was too lazy to exchange (but could have!). At time to re-up finally (maybe 6-8 mo) looked at shades on nars official site and found the slightly lighter shade- maybe two shades up?- and if it was off was going to just ship it back and try the next closet shade. Don't be inhibited or embarrassed about returning makeup that does not compliment your skin - good companies know it's part of the biz and want to to find what's perfect for you so that you remain a loyal customer. Samples in stores are almost always available if asked for (plus more hygienic than using store shelf testers). Love the free samples/romos with purchase and best shipping EVER but buy wherever you get the best points/bonus from. Nars is a good place to start if you're on a serious mission to find something worthy of your looks, trust, and money. Not a paid review but if anyone from Nars is reading this I'll be out of concealer in like October...
