Great album. Some of Frusciante's best guitar work. Just about every song is great. There's a few I don't care for as much like “Hump De Bump” and “We Believe”, but they aren't terrible. Stand out songs are “Slow Cheetah”, “Hard to Concentrate”, and the fan favorite, “Wet Sand”. Album has an overall consistent flow but loses a little steam towards the end of Disc 2. I would've included the B-Sides “Lately”, and “Million miles of Water” as they both have radio potential, and could've been hit records. It was a missed opportunity in my opinion. Some other honorable mentions are “Desecration Smile”, “Hey”, “Readymade” and “Strip my Mind”. The radio hits off this album are not even the best songs. The guitar playing really is brilliant. Best Frusciante has played since the blood sugar sex Magik era. Flea is in top form. The Bass line on “Cmon Girl” is one of his best. This album grows on you more and more with every listen.
