The Sideline 60 features Touchstone's life-like LED flame-effect and a front-facing heating element for simple and safe in-wall installation. The heart of Touchstone's electric fireplaces is the flame itself. Touchstone's realistic lighted flame effect delivers the same relaxing effect of real flames, without the odor or mess, and they look great in any room of the house. The Sideline 60 fireplace has three color options (orange, blue, and blue-orange), along with five brightness settings, from a soft ember glow or an intense blaze, so you have the ability to adjust the flame color and intensity based on your desired mood or lighting of the room. Just press the appropriate button on the fireplace's included remote control, and you have instant fireplace ambiance. Push another button to control the Sideline's heater, which features two settings (high and low heat), to quickly add supplemental heat to a room of up to 400 square feet. While the heater isn’t designed to be the primary heat source in your room or home, it will warm up a cool evening, or bring the temperature of a room up a few degrees.

Awesome addition to our living room!
We did extensive research before making a decision on what electric fireplace buy. What really sold us was the over 500 five star reviews on this unit. We couldn't be happier with how realistic and upscale it looks at this price point. When we turn on the heater it really does a nice job taking the chill out of our living room as well. If you're looking for an electric fireplace, I would highly recommend this unit!

An Awesome Electric Fireplace
I got this 60" electric fireplace as part of a remodel of my living room. This unit is easy to setup and install. The "fire" looks realistic. The heater works nicely, but don't expect to get toasty warm. There are different settings for the look of the "fire" color and intensity) which allow you to have the look you want. Because I installed this in front of an existing brick fireplace, I had to build a frame in front of the fireplace to install the Touchstone fireplace. I put more effort into building and installing the 2"x6" frame than I did installing the fireplace. I also installed a dedicated 20 amp line for use by the fireplace as I didn't want to overload another circuit when I run the heater and watching TV at the same time. Overall, this is an awesome electric fireplace and I am very pleased with the look and performance.
