The 3/8" inset hinges are better than 35 mm hinges because they open 180 degree & the 35mm hinges only open 110 degree & when you open the door there's no arm sticking out in your way of storage in the cabinet like the 35mm hinge has,& also we have had many complaints about the 35 mm hinges stripping because people are so use to the 3/8 inset opening 180 degree opening.Another advantage is the 3/8 inset hinges you can't see light behind the door when its closed but the 35mm full overlay you can see twists and gaps more noticeable.
