Fantastic tube amp

I am _so_ happy I learned about this amp. I am so bummed I learned about this amp only as late as I did. I should have just looked harder. This is an all-round gem. The amp can take pedals quite fine (though I have only tried it with a few basic pedals--boss looper, tubescreamer) and it can also work with the Boss ME-90. Loud enough for small venues, I think (say large--600sqft basement) and quiet enough for smaller rooms (15/1W switch). Wonderful tube warble/gnarl and it has elevated my practice sessions in more than one way. Coming from a largely solid-state world and terrified of tube-amp prices from name brands, I am so happy with this amp. I immediately ended up buying a tube kit(amplified parts MOD 102 ) and made my own guitar amp cabinet with a 12" celestion because I had become tube-obsessed... Oh--did I say that this monoprice amp has a 12-inch celestion? Beautiful, beautiful find!

Best amp for the money

What other 15 watt valve amplifier is out there with a 12' speaker that you can buy for $300.99? It uses the same tube/valve set as the Vox. It does what you expect from a tube amp . Great for home and gigs. It can be daisy chained and connected to a 4x12 speaker cabinet. It has an effects loop so yo can add stomp boxes as you like. Great all around amplifier.
