I can't say how much I love this fireplace screen
This screen is perfect in my living room. I have a mid century home and a brass glass door fireplace screen that I have not replaced yet. Wanted something to really showcase the fireplace. Saw this screen on line. Read all the reviews about the paint job finish on the screen. Decided to order it anyway, as the price is fantastic. So glad I did. The paint finish is made to look old, sort of tarnished and worn in spots, it looks like it is from the 60's. So that is a major plus. Love the design. depending on how you look at it it can appear to have two different patterns. I did not have to remove the glass door screen as I put this one in front of it and it looks perfect. It was the jewel the fireplace needed. Don't be afraid to order it.
