Lux GEO Smart Thermostat, No Hub Required

I read all the reviews and did a lot of research before finally buying the LuxGeo. The product is good quality (some reviewers have said its "cheap plastic" but its the same as any plastic product you'd buy). Installation was EXTREMELY easy, took maybe 5-10 minutes tops (I have a two wire system, Rh and W), the wiring is very simple to connect and the unit installs on the wall with 2 screws. I downloaded the App for IPhone and set up an account quickly and easily and my wife can access my account from her phone at the same time. Note that app setup instructions will have you connect to a new network, just follow the simple instructions and it basically does all the work, the new network is a quick temporary set up and you can go back to your own network within a minute or two (this threw me off at first...but its very simple). I have yet to experience any issues with connectivity, but changing the heat by app may have a very short delay as opposed to manually setting the temp. I've seen people mention issues with the scheduling app... its just crazy easy to use, you can automate the time and temp 4 times a day, you move the 4 time pointers to the times, and set the temp to move to at that time. How anyone has trouble using it is beyond me. I haven't played with other thermostats, but for the price this is awesome! It's precisely everything I was hoping it would be, and having read many of the negative reviews on various sites I find none of them hold water, maybe its the user not the product. My one negative thought is on the button on the unit. when changing the temp or going into settings you can turn clockwise but the temp goes down and vice versa... its really not a big deal as it corrects quickly. The fact is, you will use your phone to play with the unit anyway. I'm really glad I finally jumped in and bought it, $100 well spent.
