Open Channel Clear Dot 14" The Remo 14" Powerstroke 77 Coated Clear Dot Snare Top Head is made from two plies of 7 mil Mylar (14 mil total), complete with a small 7 mil underlay ring around the outside that gets rid of unwanted, ringy overtones.A 5 mil clear center dot is added to the center of the head to give you extra durability, and it has the bonus effect of focusing the pitch. These heads give your snare a tastefully dry, punchy sound reminiscent of 70s motown.
