I'm on the fence about this fence

This mesh is much smaller than I expected, and not perfectly designed. Some squares are smaller, and some are larger. I have put up about 20 feet so far, and have found what looks like an oxidized part. A line running diagonally across a section about 5 feet long. And the fact that I can cut this mesh fence with scissors makes me doubt the quality. I am using it to protect my chickens from predators (coyotes, eagles, hawks, bobcats, rats, and more) so I really hope it's stronger than it appears. I paid $200 to keep my animals safe. I hope it does the job.
