My son has a thing for light up shoes and Paw Patrol so these were perfect for his 4th birthday. Note: Marshall is on one tongue of the shoes and Chase is on the other. T he outer sides of the shoe are identical on both. The lights are white (like lightning) they light up on the bottom and outer sides

my son loves these shoes! For the price, they were great for us bc he's going thru a growth spurt and needed a couple of pairs of shoes. these are easy for him to put on by himself, and he loves that they are light-up shoes, so he's constantly jumping around. BUT they do not always light up when he walks, so he jumps a lot..
