It works excellently. I love it. I like the ease of installation and robust attachment. Much better than a tension bar. It has a high quality feel to it, and doesn't have any of those unsightly seams in the middle of the bar (the ones that are extendable for a larger distance). But, the way the curved rod fits into the attachment ends, there is an inch or two of adjustability in the length so that you can accommodate variation in your installation. I'd buy it again. Great purchase. One thing that I would have preferred would be if the product came with recommendations on where to locate it (distance from the inside shower wall) for best placement. I realize that varies a lot with configuration of the bathroom and shower, but you have to think carefully on where to put it, or the large curve (9" - it's great!) may intrude too much into the rest of the bathroom.

We wanted a substantial curved shower curtain bar in brushed nickel in a style that blended in with our traditional bathroom fixtures. Mission accomplished. We first discovered this bar during a hotel stay.
