Our repertoire includes a wide array of Celtic music, American folk and old time fiddle tunes and lively Contra-Dance tunes. We play cheerful, quick melodies such as jigs, reels and hornpipes as well as relaxing ballads, slow airs and waltzes. Most of our repertoire is traditional music written hundreds of years ago. Our instruments are hammered dulcimers, acoustic guitar, recorders, mountain dulcimers, bodhran, bowed psaltery and others. The most common description of our music is 'soothing.' 'A Moment's Rest' will transport you to a restful spot of your very own.
