Birds Choice Mounting Flange For 1" Pole

Heavy duty, easy to put on birdhouse and fits perfectly in pole!!

Before reviewing, I'd like to express my dissatisfaction with FedEx delivery. For four consecutive days I received mail that this would be delivered. Twice, the truck returned to the terminal with my package still on it. One of those times it was a holiday the next day so it might be excused that there was no delivery although Walmart sent mail saying it would be. The 4th day was a charm. This works well for it's intended purpose. I bought one to support a platform feeder (Birds Choice, bought here) mounted on a pole. I found that the hole in the platform was a bit larger than the diameter of the pole and the feeder rocked up %26 down. It also allowed seed to fall into the gap. So I bought another of these flanges to go on top of the platform and everything is good. It may also be good as a mount for a pole-top birdhouse or feeder but you should measure the diameter of your pole first. This flange covers many diameters but on a less than 1" pole your feeder may become slightly cocked when the thumbscrew is tightened. I have that situation with a different feeder pole and have not yet found a suitable sleeve/shim/adapter at the hardware store.
