You can't beat the best
I have not had pinking shears for about a year and it has been a hassle fighting with strands of loose threads from the fabric as I am sewing. So I am delighted to get the Fiskars Pinking Shears. My old pinking shears turned out to be rather poor quality and were made of cast metal which was chrome plated to look good. It was not long before the chrome plating started to peel off at the edges of the cutting blades. They seemed to get dull rather quickly which required a lot more effort in cutting. Then one day unexpectedly part of one of the cutting blades cracked and fell off. Just the opposite now. The Fiskars Pinking Shears are very high quality. The plastic handle is formed to fit all sizes of hands and is extremely comfortable which is very important plus it is positioned to aid in cutting fabrics as they lay flat on your pattern table. The high grade satin finished stainless steel blades look robust and should be quite corrosion and rust resistant too. As soon as I started using the Fiskars Pinking Shears the built in quality was evident. The cuts are crisp and precise and only light pressure is needed to perform the cuts. I didn't know pinking shears could be this good until I got these fine Fiskars Stainless Steel Pinking Shears and highly recommend them. Even if you own pinking shears now I suggest that you give these a try. You will not be disappointed.
Fiskars Pinking Shears
I was ver impressed with the overall performance of the Fiskars pinking shears. They fit very well in my hand. They are very easy-to-use and cut perfectly. I love that they come in different colors. I do alot of crafts and these shears make it so much easier on me. They actually cut through fabric like butter. I will recommend these to all my crafter friends.
Great Scissors
I received the Fiskars Fashion 8 inch Pinking Shears and was excited to try them. I know that Fiskars is a really good brand of scissors. I do a lot of quilting and always use pinking shears to cut my fabrics to prevent them from fraying. I have had many pair that would not cut fabric well and I was pleased to find that the Fiskars pinking shears cut my fabric easily and cleanly. They were easy to use too as I have arthritic hands and some shears hurt my hands when I use them. This was not a problem with these scissors. Overall I am very pleased with their performance!
