DESS tethers must be programmed by your local SeaDoo Dealer to work. The registered owner will need to take the new key and PWC to a authorized SeaDoo dealer along with proper ID and the PWC registered paperwork to match owner. This is part of the DESS requirements. The keys cannot be programmed without the vehicle present as they both need to be hooked to the dealers computer.This fiits most SeaDoo PWC with DESS systems 1998 and newer. This will not work on SeaDoo Jet Boats.
