It's not bad

Due to our age and health we are eating frozen meals for the next couple of weeks. My husband is a proud old Texan that loves his Mexican food. We can't afford to eat out so this is what I got for him to try and he actually liked it. He certainly didn't love it but he said it's better than other Mexican frozen items he's tried. It'll help with his Mexican food cravings till he's on his feet to cook for us again.

Tasted ok, but shocked at the meager servings

Well, it wasn't at all what I'd hoped it would be. The beef enchiladas were very skinny; I actually laughed at the size. To me, they tasted ok, but the texture was like canned tamales. The rice was almost non-existent. There was way too much sauce, in which the sparse rice was floating. Again, the sauce with the enchiladas and with the rice tasted ok. I split the meal into two portions due to the high sodium content. My first meal didn't taste so good (it actually was very spicy hot), but the second meal I had the next day tasted much better, so much so that I'd give this another try. Well, I'd have to think about that due to the price. The small serving of refried beans was more like a soup with very little partial or whole beans. Overall, I'm disappointed in the quantity (especially of the rice and refried beans), but satisfied with the taste enough to possibly give it another try. I hated the coconut pudding! It had an overly sweet taste.

Total Disgust!!

No rice, no beans, no pudding! Just 2 pathetic enchiladas smothered in sauce. The "pudding" compartment had about 2 T. of what I'd call hot custard. Very watery and thinned. There wasn't any rice at all. The "beans" compartment had a thin watery brown slop. Tasted like beans, did not have any texture. Very disappointed! The Adobe flavor of the sauce was overpowering. I added my own shredded cheddar to counter the sauce. DO BETTER HUNGRY MAN!!!
