Train Set into Scale Models

Product is exactly as advertised and makes an excellent Christmas tree display item. If trucks and couplers are changed on the cars and caboose, they become On30 scale models and make excellent scale model additions to an On30 scale model railroad. I added Kadee #5 couplers and Bachmann On30 trucks plus paint and weathering to make some realistic rolling stock. DonC

It would be perfect if it stayed on the tracks, it would only require deeper grooves for the tires and track, I tried to weight down the cars a bit, it helped, but after a few rounds something would come off track,a remote control would be great too, but it served its purpose around the tree
