Very Cheaply Made

I bought this train set to go under the tree, the tracks are very, very, very, very cheaply made, and have to sit on a very flat surface, no carpet or train de-rails. The train tracks "rest on top" of each connection, they don't click together & stay put. The train engine itself is adorable, but the "cupplers" that connect the train cars together need further engineering work, they are tough to connect, then don't stay connected. I found myself fixing this train for my 5 yr. old every 5 minutes, needless to say it didn't stay under the tree till Christmas.
