It's Okay (Pun Intended)

The book is about her time on the show The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. She does give glimpses of her life and friendships. You will either love this book, or you will hate this book. There are parts that I found very entertaining, like the details about her relationship (sorry, who doesn't love a little gossip?), behind the scene details of the show The Bachelorette, details about certain Bachelor contestants, etc. There is a lot of use of the "F" word, so if you find that offensive, you will not like this book. She says it, A LOT. Other parts of the book I found very difficult to read. She tries to be funny and sarcastic (and sometimes, she is), but most of the time it came across as bi***y and preachy. And, she complains a lot that she gained weight and she calls herself "fat" over and over. I am sorry, but even if she went from a size 4 to a size 6, she is so far from being fat, it's ridiculous. At the end of the day, there are always two sides to a story. This is hers. I feel bad, if things went as badly as she claims they did. If you are a fan of the show, I say it's worth checking out. Make your own conclusion.
