Protects electronics from surges and brownouts

Super reliable power cleaner and back up system. We always have one on our television and media boxes (dvd player, etc.) to protect them from surges and brown-outs. APC's Back-ups is high quality but without the frills of the computer-based ones (which you don't really need to protect TVs). APC also has a nice battery recycling program - the battery tends to need replacing after 3-5 years and they'll let you send back the used one with free shipping.

Nice UPS Backup For My Wood Pellet Stove

This is a nice unit that I use for my Harman P68 wood pellet stove. If my power goes out I will have about 15 minutes to turn off my stove so the house doesn't fill with smoke and ash as what would normally happen. To me this was worth the money to have that kind of protection.
