The NH 90 was a twin-seat, medium transport and utility helicopter that was manufactured and designed by NHIndustries for NATO countries. Operational since 2007, the prototype of the NH90 had its first flight in 1995. The design of the NH90 was in response to the need for a helicopter that can operate at sea. With four powerful turboshaft engines, the NH90 was a reliable chopper during critical long-range missions. Equipped with state-of-the-art avionics system, this helicopter is used for various missions including search and rescue, electronic warfare, and medical evacuation. This helicopter can haul 20 troops on board or small vehicles weighing up to 8,000 pounds.
