The perfect fit and value

I read about this in America's Test Kitchen. I needed a large stockpot to make some gumbo. The recipe yields much more than my smaller pot. The bottom is multiclad so maintains heat. Some would recommend purchasing a more expensive stockpot that is multiclad on sides, too. If you want to spend a lot of money, go ahead, but for my purposes (I make a lot of soups) this is perfect.

The BEST stock pot out there!!!

This stock pot is nothing short of amazing!! I've been looking for one for a few years. I always want to get one on St Patrick's Day so I can cook corned beef and cabbage. This Thanksgiving I finally broke down and bought one and, BOY, and I glad I did!! I used to to cook a turkey stock and I had plenty of room to put in all my turkey parts, vegetables, and broth. When you look around and see how expensive stock pots are, it's ridiculous! I can't believe I got this pot for less than $50!! I saw this pot on America's Test Kitchen. They had a bunch of pots reviewed at all different prices. This pot was the best HANDS DOWN! I LOVE the glass lid! I can see how things are coming along without having to remove the lid and lose heat! The handles and lid handle are coated with a rubber that makes it very easy to lift the lid without the need for a potholder. Same goes for lifting the pot. I don't have to worry about getting burned. Clean up was a breeze. I just used hot water, Dawn, and a sponge. It dried spotless. If you're like me, on a years long quest to get a decent stock pot, get this one. You'll be very glad you did!!

I Love This Pot!

Great Pot! I was very surprised by how heavy it is. The quality is amazing and it is beautiful! I haven't tried it yet but we are definitely going to make a big pot of gumbo very soon. We love to make soups, chili, and big pots of spaghetti so we know we will get lots of use for this stock pot!
