I recommend that the electric Robart gear be removed as a landing gear option. I found that the gear does not move smoothly, but jerks and binds as it moves up and down. On the worm gear / jack screw extension it drove out so far that jammed against the stops. I had to manually turn the jack screw inward to release the jam. Some times the gear failed to operate. I'm using a 2- 6 volt battery that are fully charged. I have lubed the screw with anti- seize compound which has helped with the gear jam, but has not helped with the jerky operation. I have not completed the build yet, but will not fly the plane until problem is corrected.
