International Concepts Cambria Round End Table

This table is even more beautiful in person. It is also a solid piece and has a very classy look. After I purchased one, I bought 2 more. I just can't get enough of it. I used the shelves for other projects. You will love it!

We just purchased 3 additional pieces of International Concepts unfinished furniture. The reason(s) we love it is because although it's ""paranoid"", it's still ""solid"" wood. Our first piece we bought was a desk for a small office in our home. We had looked and looked for an affordable desk that wasn't made of MDF. The price couldn't be beat and the finishing was a breeze! We used Minwax Jacobean Stain and then following up with Minwax gray. This gave the desk the most beautiful taupe/gray finish. We used a Polyacrylic top coat and never has this piece shown wear or chipping. The end tables are being stained on top with Minwax Polyshades Gel in Black which has provided a dark espresso look in which we were looking to achieve. The legs and sides are being painted with Joanna Gaines Shiplap white chalk paint. I cannot believe the coverage that this chalk paint provides in just one coat! We are going to repeat with a second coat of chalk paint and then a clean polyacrylic top coat. No, this is not a top of the line wood species, however, I personally would rather have a solid piece of furniture verses MDF or veneer. You can try out different stains on the underneath of the table top or desk top, etc. This helps alleviate any disappointment after you've stained the entire piece.
