Lucid Bliss Twin XL Tight Top 12" Medium Plush Memory Foam Mattress with Gel Infusion and Ventilation

I had a queen size Lucid mattress for 9 years before deciding to downsize to a twin, which is what size I'm reviewing now. I bought this second Lucid mattress because I had been pleased with the queen size. The only thing about the queen is that, early on, it did develop a dip in the middle, which was annoying and disappointing. I figured a twin size would have less of an issue with that. The mattress is so comfortable when I lay down on it. It supports me in all the right places. I would say this is a medium to medium-firm mattress. I am a heavy woman and my hips develop painful bursitis if I sleep on a firm mattress. So, this is great for my body size and weight. I also have degenerating discs in my upper back-neck and in my lumbar area, and this is good support for that, too. It keeps my back well-aligned.

It took a little time to adjust to this mattress since I had a heated water bed for 23 years, but I am quite amazed at the quality of this mattress for such a reasonable price. It is so much easier on my back and joints - my back, hips & shoulders no longer ache when I sleep, so I wake up much more rested & refreshed. It does hold the heat from your body a bit, so I had to swap a thicker blanket for a thinner one in order not to get too warm after several hours. But it is such a welcome change not suffering from aches & pains when I sleep. Truly one of my better purchases!
