I bought this knowing an inexpensive coat rack made from MDF would not be the most sturdy piece of furniture I own, but I just needed something nice to put in my entryway for guests. That said, it's actually not too wobbly. It's very lightweight, so keep that in mind if you're planning to keep it covered with heavy jackets all winter. I can see it being prone to tipping. My box did not come with instructions, so I had to figure out assembly on my own. Even the three identical legs have their holes drilled at staggered heights, so they need to connected to the base in a very specific way to get it to be level. Only after I got it wrong the first try did I realize that the line between the branches and legs has to match up on all three sides. If you get a box without instructions or sticker guides, just keep that in mind.
