This book examines the foundations and principles of Protestant church law thus allowing for a well informed debate on the legitimacy of ecclesiastical order. People can be part of this ecclesiastical order, either as members of the church or as volunteers or employed professionals. This brings with it both specific requirements and a variety of possible courses of action. Such activities take place within the various different structures of the Church as a whole as well as within its associated organizations and thereby give the Church its form.
