Better than expected

I don't have a lot of space for an outside mailbox and this box fits perfectly in that space. It's roomy enough on the inside to hold magazines as well as letter-size mail and the exterior is a beautiful dark bronze color. It really enhances the front exterior of my home. It's very easy to install and comes with all necessary hardware.

The Post Office wanted a ""standard"" mail box installed...

and that's exactly what they got! The perfect LITTLE white mail box, installed high enough so that the carrier doesn't have to bend over in the slightest! They can carry a 50 lb. bag of mail and packages but they're not allowed to ""bend""...go figure! Now what they're going to do with packages bigger than a standard envelope is beyond me! We provided the perfect container (a beautiful bench seat on our front porch that opens up for mail AND packages - (also supplied by hayneedle) - that all the carriers love, but the PO says ""It's not in compliance"" and wouldn't deliver our mail until the ""standard"" mailbox was installed! So the pretty white mail box is installed but the carriers still use the bench seat! :)
