Gilpin newel post

I bought one of these to replace a rusted out existing post. After installation it was a perfect match to the existing post I bought another one. This was one of the few places I could find the post. The material was slightly thinner then the original one from 30+ years ago. This is common with most building materials these days. I'll purchase another one if I need it.
