Quilling Kit With Storage Box Strips Tweezer Comb Ruler Guid

Hi, My first review - EVER - but I wanted to add my opinion to the one star that's lingering out there... First, yes, the kit was missing half of the paper strips... but the paper strips are such a minor part (the consumable part that need to be replaced, anyway... complaining about this kit would be like rating a sewing machine poorly because it was missing thread!) The TOOLS in this kit are excellent! The PRICE of this kit is excellent (really, price these pieces individually)! And the customer service is fantastic! They sent me extra paper, but even without it I would have been very happy! For $15, it was a steal, but for $11... buy the kit.

Not as advertised by Darice. Items listed on their labeling includes 264 quilling strips which accounts for the majority of the 271 pieces, but I received only 108 in my original order and about he same number in the replacement order. Since this kit comes in a shrink wrap from the manufacturer I perceive this to be their error, not a Walmart packing error. For a beginner with no quilling tools, the kit might be a bargain, however my main interest was the comb and the fine tip glue applicator and the heavy supply of quilling strips, which i could purchase individually within the same price range. The glue bottle was not as expected, appearing to have a cork type push in cap rather than a screw on cap. Although I did not use the bottle I perceived the design as a potential problem. The storage case was nice and the other tools appeared adequate, but definitely NOT the 271 pieces Darice advertises. Value really depends on what you are really looking for. I returned both kits - WalMart customer service was both helpful and pleasant.
