BosleyMD BosDefense Color Safe Volumizing Conditioner 10.1 oz

I did reorder the shampoo from amazon but was previously ordering it from another website. I wrote this review on the shampoo and decided to copy and paste the review on the conditioner since I use both:Upon suggestion from my hair stylist I started using the Bosley shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair about 3 months ago. A little hair history - I am a 32 year old woman with two children. After having my first child (11 years ago) and getting hypothyroid disease my hair became very thin. Even with proper thyroid treatment, I was never able to regrow my thinning areas (mostly my front hair line). I never tried any type of regrowth product before. I am also 85% gray so I color my hair. I rarely blow dry, but I straighten with a flat iron every day. Because of my hair color and condition of my hair, I only wash it 3 - 4 x per week. So, I have been using the shampoo and conditioner 3 - 4 x per week for about 3 months. I didn't actually order it from amazon, I ordered bigger bottles from another company. I have 2 new layers of hair coming in around my front hair line. The first layer is now about 3 inches long and a few weeks ago, another layer started and it is about 1/4" - 1/2" long now. The regrowth is annoying in styling my hair and I can't put my hair back right now because I have the thick layer of short hair while the rest of my hair is long. I can't wait until it grows really long.My stylist is about 45 - 50 years old and she uses the shampoo and conditioner (and vitamins) herself. She has alopecia and says it took about a year, but her bald spots have significantly reduced. Based on this and my experience, I recommended it to my dad who has alopecia. He tried it for about 2 months but saw no result, so he stopped using it.One of the girls that works at the salon said she started using the Bosley vitamins. Her hair grew 2" in a month (I see her every month and asked her what happened!). I did order the vitamins from amazon and just received them today. I am interested to see if they work for me like they did for the girl at the salon.On a side note, the shampoo and conditioner tingle a lot, like you are putting mint on your scalp. My dad hated this feeling, but I loved it. The longer I used it the less strong the tingling felt. Because of the tingling, I suggest washing your face in the shower before you use the shampoo or conditioner, otherwise you get the tingly feeling on your face and it kind of burns your eyes.I recommend this product but if you order it, depending on your hair condition, I suggest using it for a minimum of 3 months before deciding if it's working or not. Every time I go to the salon, my stylist shows all the other customers my hair regrowth.I have been very annoyed that I can't find any reviews on the Bosley Pro line, so I decided to write one. I want to know if a lot of people are having good results. I will write a review on the vitamins in a month.Something I should have added to the shampoo review but didn't. I have not seen an increase in the growth rate of all my hair. My hair grew 1/2" per month before and after using the shampoo and conditioner. The products have only affected regrowth of lost hair, not accelorated other hair growth.
