Cuda Telescoping Stainless Steel Threaded Harpoon, 44" to 72.5", Aluminum Shaft and Brass Dart with Rope

This is a really good, solid harpoon! It's heavy gauge aluminum, with a stainless steel shaft at the business end. The extension clip locks into holes in the inner shaft with a metal finger. You can hit HARD with this harpoon %26 it's not going to slip. The grip end is textured for a no slip grip. There's a 2 size clip at the base of the stainless steel shaft to clip your rope into to avoid fouling the dart. A ring at the very base of the harpoon allows you to attach a safety lanyard, as this rig does not float. The only down side is the dart itself. It's dull! It's just plain cast bronze. You're going to need to file or grind the tip %26 blades to a good sharp point %26 edge before you'll be able to use this. You might even want to get some spare stainless darts. (My dart has been sharpened in the pictures.) PRO TIP - Get yourself some food service grease, like the kind they use on ice-cream %26 slushy machines. It's non-toxic %26 won't leave a taste in the meat. Put a little of that grease on the shaft before you put the dart on. It will help release the dart easier after you strike. DO NOT use regular grease! It will leave a bad taste in the meat, besides being toxic.
