Doc Martin: Series 7 (Blu-ray), Acorn, Comedy

I got hooked on this British series and had to get the first 6 "seasons" and wanted to just sit down and watch as many as I could. The humor is typically British but translates well. I have learned a lot of new British slang terms. Martin Clunes is amazingly wonderful in his portrayal of a non-humorless doctor in a small Cornish town. The personal interactions with townspeople and a love interest named Louisa makes you want to go and give him advice in person--a feat that producers of this series do well to bring you into the show.. British television is produced differently than in the U.S. and the series doesn't have but 54 episodes over 7 season but they are well worth the watch and wait for new ones. And as an added bonus the beautiful scenery of the Port Wen(Port Isaac in reality) is like a vacation in your living room or wherever you watch the series. The landscapes, sea views and images of the town architecture and layout is incredible. You must watch.
