I installed both of the headlights 9005xs %26 9006xs in my Jeep AFTER someone who has knowledge that they have to be xs style. plugged in the right side and set my light up, turned them on and 15 seconds later I see smoke rising from the lens. Turned them off, pulled out the lens and looked at the wires, no not coming from them but still from the lens. So I undone the assembly to find out the brand new bulb 9005xs has melted and the glass tube bubbled. So I put my old regular bulb back on cause it at least it works just very difficult to see at night. The other side so far is okay and the 9006xs are working.
