great lighting for my kitchen

This has worked out really well in a kitchen with a few darker corners. This is a log home so changing the wiring to move lighting was very difficult. Adding these lights was an easy solution.

Product used to cover 'hot' end of another brand of track lighting

I purchased this product for another purpose. I needed the plastic 'cover' only. The track lighting I have in the home is around 40 years old (possibly made by Thomas Lighting?). The 'hot' end of the track (where the electrical wires connect to the track) was exposed (you could physically see the wires and end connectors) and I needed to get this end properly 'covered'. At one time (with previous owner of the home) there may have been a 'cover' over this end but it was no where to be found. Using an oscillating saw, I carefully cut one of the end 'openings' in the cover slightly larger so that it would slide over the end of the track. Once I had this done, I used the existing holes in the cover to screw the cover to the wall. Now the 'hot' end of the track is fully covered and will limit possibility of electrical shock.
