New 12-volt permanent magnet direct drive starter motor designed for the Kawasaki KLF185 Bayou 185 ATV with 182cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine. Counter-clockwise rotation with 9-tooth pinion gear ensures smooth engagement for dependable starting in all conditions. Heavy-duty construction with precision-wound armature and carbon brush assembly provides extended service life. Dual unthreaded 6.9mm mounting ear holes with 62.5mm (2.461") center-to-center spacing for direct OEM fitment. Replaces Kawasaki OEM 21163-1076 and Mitsuba cross-reference KW2-0004R.
